January 8 Birthday Astrology The astrological symbol for Capricorn, the tenth sign of the year, is the Sea-goat. NUMEROLOGY SIGN/FLICKR (CC BY 2.0) Capricorns born on January 8 seek to balance worldly concerns with an expression of their soul-needs. Although they strive for a pragmatic approach to life, they have a superstitious nature. They are gifted yet may be riddled with self-doubts. These problems are exacerbated by the fact that they have difficulty expressing their feelings through words. Friends and Lovers Because of their basic distrust of others' motives, it is hard for January 8 people to make friends. If trust is breached, the friendship is likely to end. They have a powerful lovenature. They are romantics who demand total devotion. Even if they are not especially attractive they can cast a spell, drawing lovers to them with ease. Children and Family Even when they do not feel bound to family members, people born on January 8 are generous to them. They may have had a strict upbringing from which they lapsed in adulthood, creating guilt and dishonor. They make doting parents, anxious to give their children material as well as spiritual riches. Health Although January 8 people love food, they are not interested in learning healthful ways to prepare it. They may have food issues dating from childhood that need to be reconciled. Exercise can be a physically as well as emotionally safe way to work out their aggressions and stress. Career and Finances People born on this date need to feel they are in control of their destiny. Unfortunately, they sometimes take the easy way, allowing family connections to dictate their path. Although they know the value of a dollar, they enjoy spending money lavishly. They indulge themselves and are generous with friends and loved ones. Dreams and Goals January 8 people may dream big, but their goal is to understand their motivations. This is not always easy because they are seldom in touch with their core self. If they manage to integrate the two sides of their nature, they can achieve any goal. (the sequel is based on the alternate ending of the film where Dr. Neville survives and makes it to the survivors camp in Bethel, Vermont). It is now a little more than a decade after the events of the first film (early 2020s) and something happens in the camp so Neville, Anna, and Ethan have to venture to the outside world. They meet a nomadic militia-type group of darkseeker hunters (similar to the Saviors from TWD), lead by a man named the General (who was beginning in the military when the outbreak happened). The hunters believe that there will never be a cure for the virus and that the darkseekers are too mutated, monstrous, and “gone” to be considered human, so they believe they have to eradicate the darkseekers from the face of the earth. The hunters talk about someone called “Dee” who has been bonding with Darkseekers and purposefully reintroducing a mutated krippin virus with a faster incubation time (similar to the rage virus from 28 Days Later) and is more contagious. Dee’s plan is to infect the rest of humanity with the new KV, fill the world with Darkseekers (which he believes are the next step on the evolutionary ladder), and finally infect himself so he can turn because he believes he’s the only one who can do what he does. Dee is revealed to be a new hunter that was recruited during the film but never given a name. Neville has to show the General and Dee that humans and Darkseekers can co-exist before it’s too late
