Hunter x Hunter: Succession Contest Arc is (hopefully) a possible upcoming sequel to Hunter x Hunter 2011. Succession Contest Arc takes place directly after the 13th Hunter Chairman Election arc, where the 2011 series ended back in 2014. Sadly due to the author's (Yoshihiro Togashi) health, the manga has made very slow progress. As of now this arc has only 80+ chapters which isn’t much considering it began back in 2012. It is likely we won’t see an anime adaptation until this arc is completed and when it is, I hope they bring back as many of the 2011 cast as they can.
