Thomas Alexander Dekker (born December 28, 1987) is an American film and television actor and a musician. He is also a singer and has written and produced two albums. He is best known for his roles as John Connor in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Nick Szalinski on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, and Zach on Heroes. He also did the voice of Littlefoot in The Land Before Time V-IX (singing voice in The Land Before Time V) and as Fievel Mousekewitz in An American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan Island and An American Tail: The Mystery of the Night Monster. He is also known for playing Jesse Braun in the 2010 remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, and recently, Smith in Gregg Araki's film Kaboom. A Duran Duran biopic that talks about how they first got together starting out with Nick Rhodes and John Taylor as children with a big dream of being in a famous band. It evolves from growing up together in the 70's and eventually hosting auditions for their big project in 1978. The band becomes Duran Duran including Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Simon Le Bon, Andy Taylor & Roger Taylor. Once the band erupted, the film explores the ups and downs of stardom, to the peak of their big hits and to the downfall during Live Aid and eventually splitting up into Arcadia in 1986. With several attempts to rejuvinate the band throughout the late 80's and 90's, John Taylor eventually leaves the band. Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes struggle to keep up the hype and the spice of the band and debate on whether to continue or not. The ending features the Five-Piece reuniting and performing again in the early 2000s.
