Lupus was born to a rough family in District 2; the oldest son of a veteran Peacekeeper father, he was trained for the Games by his father and uncle from a young age. In the Capitol and arena he was given a ferocious warrior image, bolstered by his many tattoos and bulky appearance; he made eleven kills in the arena including the young girl from District 5, his capable Career male ally from District 4 and both tributes from District 1 in a brutal finale. Lupus was close to his mentor, Brutus before and after the Games but differed in life path; he joined the underground rebellion with the help of Lyme Tanner. As of the 3rd Quarter Quell he is still alive age 21.
