Raised in the dirty understreets of District 8, Cotton always saw herself as 'surviving prey' from a young age. Reaped for the Games aged 16, she proved very capable to her mentor Cecilia through snares and traps; killing nine tributes in the factories arena, including the boys from Districts 2 and 4 and the girls from Districts 9 and 11. Cotton was extremely damaged by the face of so much death and very rarely spoe publicly after leaving the arena, but she did join the underground rebellion. As of the 3rd Quarter Quell she is still alive age 20.
