Beetee was raised in a seemingly typical but secretly rebellious District 3 family, born the year of the 20th Games. Reaped at age 15 and mentored by Gates Gramdan, his arena was an ordinary rural village surrounded by forest; he made no allies but kept to himself, building an electrical trap in secret that he used to electrocute six tributes at once. A fairly solitary victor in personality, Beetee was close to his mentor and on occasion Seeder Crue and Bovina Martinez but few other people; he later mentored one victor in Wiress Okamoto. As of the 3rd Quarter Quell he is still alive aged 55.
