A volunteer for the Games, Annie underwent a wide development from before the Games to after. She volunteered age 18, fighting alongside Halibut Shore's son Merlin and making four kills before Merlin was decapitated by the boy from District 1. Annie witnessed several other PTSD-inducing scenes but survived the events in the end through outswimming the other tributes when the arena was flooded. Following her Games Annie joined the rebellion and entered a romantic relationship with Finnick Odair. As of the 3rd Quarter Quell she is still alive age 23.
