A young gypsy girl who lives on the streets of Paris fighting to survive, dancing in the streets for money and confronting Frollo's overbearing guards. Quasimodo falls in love with her for being the only person in town who treats him like a human. At a festival, she confronts Frollo for his abuse of power and mistreatment of those most in need, making Frollo seek to imprison her, but he develops lustful desires towards her, which makes him enter into a psychological duel of not knowing whether to love her or kill her. , which will make Frollo start a hunt against the gypsy that will lead him to set fire to all of Paris.
