In 1990s Paris, two quiet teenagers, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, turn their shared obsession with music into something the world has never seen before. From underground clubs and homemade machines to global superstardom, the pair reinvent themselves as mysterious robots, hiding their faces while transforming electronic music forever. But behind the chrome helmets are two friends navigating fame, artistic obsession, technology, isolation, and the increasingly blurred line between the humans they are and the icons they have created. Spanning nearly three decades, Human After All is the story of Daft Punk — their music, their friendship, their mythology, and the final decision to let the robots disappear.
