Dr. Robert Bruce Banner is a physicist, he was abused by father as a child, because of this Bruce suppressed his anger. They locked him in a psychiatric hospital and sent to foster care. The foster parents didn't tell him the truth about parents and said they died. Bruce has nightmares about them, but still believes they are dead. As an adult, he built an gamma bomb for the Army. During one test, young Rick Jones was on a test ramp. Banner saved him, but was exposed to a lethal dose of gamma radiation. It released his pent-up anger and transformed him into a monster known as Hulk, with own mind and personality. Then new cleaner revealed to him that he is his real father, Bruce doesn't believe and transformed into a 3.5 meter tall monster, he demolished the whole lab and Brian saw him, but Hulk didn't believe him and threw him to the ground and left. Betty Ross was worried about Bruce and called her father, General Ross. He takes him to a military base in the desert. He transformed into the Hulk again and ran away. Ross sent Emil Blonsky, KGB agent and spy to bring him back. He saw Betty and transformed back. They took him to talk to his father.
