Falling from the sky, Howard the Duck begins to make Earth his new home. Falling in love with movies and superheroes, Howard decides to make his own superhero movie. But it all turns out to be harder than he expected, as he deals with delays, an incident that nearly injures a good chunk of the cast, and a corrupt executive who sees his film as fodder for the cutting room floor.
