Howard The Duck has been across the galaxy at this point, but he settles down in LA where he meets S.W.O.R.D agent Darcy Lewis. Soon he stumbles upon the map that leads to a Jeweled Key, which attracts literal financial wizard Pro-Rata wants to use for his Cosmic Calculator, with which he plans to collect the cosmic dividend, which would grant him some manner of phenomenal financial power
