Manu Bennett (born 10 October 1969) is a New Zealand actor who has appeared in television series and movies. He is best known for ‘The Condemned’ (2007), ‘Death Race 2050’ (2017) and ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ (2014).
Tom Hazard is a man with a rare genetic condition which means he ages at a significantly reduced rate. He has the appearance of being in his early 40's when he is actually over 400 years old. The story follows his current day life as a teacher in London with several flashbacks to key events across his life throughout the centuries.
