The Evolution of Claire is an American young-adult novel written by Tess Sharpe which serves as a prequel to Jurassic World. The novel follows Claire Dearing in 2004 as an intern at the famed park. Largely showing her backstory and character history, it also sees Claire grow from a mere university student into the capable woman whom eventually becomes Park Manager of Jurassic World.
The Evolution of Claire was released on June 26, 2018, four days after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
