The main lead. Very nerdy and a bit of a know it all, but also someone who is kind and considerate and often the voice of reason for the group. Ted will be impulsive and at times immature but this version is less so and is more rationale and makes more naive mistakes and isn't as selfish. Still a hopeless romantic searching for the right person until he meets Tracy at the end of the series. Also he is still an architect and later in the series a professor.
