A reporter and like the original series, Ted's first love interest. This time however, they only date in season 2 and go on to date other people while still remaining friends never getting back together. Still a reporter but like Ted Robin has less whining scenes and is more fiercely outspoken and wise cracking. Still not always completely put together but always resilient.
