Set in the Equestria Kingdom, a fearless teenge princess named Courtney, who had recently relocated from the city, encounters a white horse mare named Glitter. When Courtney is on the train travelling to Horse Riding High, the horse is caught by wranglers and brought to the school to be “broken in”. Courtney immediately bonds with the mare and frees her from her pen. Courtney also makes friends with the student and roomate Nimona and Amelia. Nimona owns a talented and horse stallion called Flame and Amelia owns a friendly and horse mare called Snowy. The three girls call themselves the NCAs and go on many adventures with their horses.
