3 years after the events of the first film, the female lead is having nightmares about the creature and doesn’t believe he’s truly dead. So, she sneaks away to the Amazonian jungle to see if she can confront the beast. While she finds nothing attributing to his survival, she soon realizes that she’s either going crazy or the creature is heading to a new place for fresh blood.
