A lone wolf student belonging to the kendo club of Setagaya Commercial High School, and he's not a typical delinquent. Rather than a competition specialized in shinai matches, he use kendo with wooden sword designed for actual combat. He was once called in by upperclassmen alongside Yoshii and was beaten, but fought back with a wooden sword and defeated everyone. Afterwards, Yoshii cut up an unconscious senior student with a knife, and this incident propelled him to the top of Setagaya Commercial. Taka believed that Yoshii had taken the blame for his crimes, and since then, he had felt indebted to Yoshii. He has a somewhat period drama personality and likes to use old proverbs and sayings.
