Kanon Tani played the role of young Meiko Honma in Fuji Television's live-action adaptation of Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. She has been affiliated with Theatre Academy since 2007.
The story centers on a fourth grader named Arnold, who lives with his grandparents in an inner-city tenement. Episodes center on his experiences navigating urban life while dealing with the problems he and his friends encounter.
