Ben Solo is a former special-ops commander of the British Royal Marines who was loaned to SOCOM. In his efforts to capture Kong, Jafar recruited Kylo and had him injected with a variant of the Super Soldier Serum. After losing to Kong during a battle at Culver University, Kylo had himself transfused with Rider's gamma-irradiated blood, causing him to transform into the Kong-sized Doomsday. He then proceeded to go on a rampage in Harlem until he was defeated by Kong. While in S.H.I.E.L.D. custody, Kylo was considered as a candidate for the Adventures Initiative by the World Security Council, but Hal Jordan was sent to prevent his induction.
