Chase not only wants to prove to everyone that the PAW Patrol is more than just a kids show targeted towards preschoolers (even though their franchise did do some serious stuff), but he also wants to woo his lifetime crush: Skye, the aviator pup who will be cheering him on from Adventure Bay. On this journey, Chase has been going solo, but he risked life, limb, and his mission to win just to help the other competitors. SpongeBob was the one who saved HIS life, so Chase returned the favor. The police pup will also form a bond with Sonic, who is just as “way-past-cool” as they said he was, after Chase saved him from falling.
