Alaqua Cox is a Native American actress. She will star as Maya Lopez / Echo in the 2021 Disney+ series Hawkeye, a role she will reprise in future Marvel Cinematic Universe projects including an Echo solo show spinning off of Hawkeye.
The Heroes for Hire concept originated with solo series titled Luke Cage, Hero for Hire. As a "hero for hire", Cage tried to merge the usually pro bono world of superheroics with the bill-paying practicality of private investigation.
