Tye Sheridan (born November 11, 1996) is an American actor. The movie opens with Fred Lesley and Jacob Carter setting up the new base for the Crystal Legion called the Gemstone Cave. Meanwhile we see a scientist investigating the Crystal Legion trying to find the stones and what they do. Eventually during his search, the scientist named Jake Finnigan finds Pele's fire stone which is one of the few stones to remain unbroken after giving powers to someone. While trying to find out where it came from it catches Jake's house on fire and eventually him. Luckily the stone stops Jake from dying but now Jake is a fire monster. When Fred and Jacob see Jake rampaging through the streets of the city, they try to stop him but he's too strong. They call Amber Renee who tries to help but no matter what they do he won't stop. Eventually Fred tries to call Neptune, but he doesn't pick up the phone because of something that he's doing on his own. Fred then realizes that if he runs fast enough in a spiral, he can put out fires. Later that day he tries it on Jake and gets close to beating him but fails again. Jacob shows Fred a treadmill he invented to help Fred go faster and after training Fred is able to beat Jake. After putting out Jake's fire they send Jake to the city prison the Confined. The movie ends with the Writer finally escaping the underworld and vowing vengeance on Samuel Cyrus.
