"Ringo" is a 27-year-old unemployed drummer from London. He lives a normal life despite not finding a job. One day, he discovers that a 4-year-old experience with a Grenadian woman made him the father of a young black child. Stella, the woman in question, has to come back to Grenada to visit her dying mother, so leaves the child to Ringo. The young, white, suburban London man will learn what to be a father means and what racial inequality is, in this movie with a soundtrack by The Beatles.
