Jeremy Robert Myron Sumpter (born February 5, 1989) is an American actor. His prominent roles include the title role in the 2003 live action film Peter Pan and the recurring role of J. D. McCoy in the NBC television series Friday Night Lights (2008–2010). He co-starred alongside AnnaSophia Robb and Helen Hunt in Soul Surfer.
The story follows a young Hercules as he is raised as a mortal being, on a quest to be reunited with his immortal family.
As he does, he faces the distractions of Hades and Meg before falling in love with her.
