The couple also adopted Sophia after her mother's death. He is also a trusted close friend of Rick Grimes. Glenn is the primary supply runner for the group for the time he is with them, from Atlanta up to the Alexandria Safe-Zone. After the emergence of a new threat from an enemy group who call themselves the Saviors, Glenn planned to move to Hilltop Colony to start a new life there with Maggie, Sophia and the baby so they would be safe. However, along the way they were captured by the Saviors and their leader Negan. Where he ultimately met his end at the hands of Negan. After Glenn's death, Maggie always remembered what they went through together.
