Anthony Russo (born February 3, 1970) is an American filmmaker with his brother, Joe Russo, collectively known as the Russo brothers (/ˈruːsoʊ/ ROO-soh). They direct most of their work together. They are best known for directing four films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU): Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War(2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). Endgame grossed over $2.798 billion worldwide, briefly becoming the highest-grossing film ever. The brothers have also worked as directors and producers on the comedy series Arrested Development (2003–2005), Community (2009–2014), and Happy Endings (2011–2012). Taking place 13 years after Hawkeye: Double Agent this movie follows Clint Barton as he tries to comprehend being killed and then brought back while also having to go on a very dangerous mission with Natasha Romanoff who he never fully forgave after she framed him and had him locked away. The mission would involve taking down one of the last remaining Hydra bases being held together by Wolfgang von Strucker IV. After completing the mission Clint would try to repair his name since he hasnt had a chance to make things right since joining the Avengers. Meanwhile Nick Fury suspects a new threat is on the horizon in the form of a terrorist group called Intelligencia so Fury sends Natasha in to check it out but she gets caught and killed. After her funeral Clint decides to go in and avenge Natasha by taking down the head of Intelligencia Jack Duquesne aka the Swordsman with the new persona of Ronin. The movie ends with a huge fight between Clint and Jack where Clint discovers Jack isnt even a part of Intelligencia and they have all been played.
