Anthony Russo (born February 3, 1970) is an American filmmaker with his brother, Joe Russo, collectively known as the Russo brothers (/ˈruːsoʊ/ ROO-soh). They direct most of their work together. They are best known for directing four films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU): Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War(2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). Endgame grossed over $2.798 billion worldwide, briefly becoming the highest-grossing film ever. The brothers have also worked as directors and producers on the comedy series Arrested Development (2003–2005), Community (2009–2014), and Happy Endings (2011–2012). While on a mission to move prisoners from the Raft to the Cube agents Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff are intercepted by what seems to be an agent working for Hydra going by the codename Taskmaster. During the altercation agent Romanoff switches sides and traps agent Barton. Before leaving with Taskmaster Romanoff calls S.H.I.E.L.D and tells them that Barton is a double agent and has been working for Hydra. After getting locked up with the rest of the prisoners Barton decides to form an alliance with prisoners such as Absorbing Man, Whiplash, Wrecker, and Whirlwind in exchange for the team's freedom to escape the Cube and find agent Romanoff. The movie goes on with the team trying to escape and eventually making it out but having to fight one of S.H.I.E.L.D's greatest weapons. the Hulk. The fight goes on and the Hulk manages to take down the team while Hawkeye leaves them all and escapes. Now Hawkeye is on the run as he tries to find Romanoff and clear his name.
