Another technician, close friends with Cash. They'd have a rapport at the start of the film that establishes Cash as a likable guy before he's killed, which makes his death hit harder. Marcus could potentially survive the initial massacre and be the one who calls the police, setting off the chain of events that brings Marybeth to the morgue the next morning.
