Character Description

A boa constrictor kept in a zoo in Surrey. Harry encounters it during a trip to the zoo on Dudley Dursley's 11th birthday. Harry, who has not yet learned that he is a wizard, is surprised to discover that it can understand and speak to him. He inadvertently frees it, after which it makes for Brazil.
