The Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic. He is placed under the Imperius Curse by Corban Yaxley, allowing Lord Voldemort to take over the Ministry. Under Voldemort's regime, Thicknesse is named as the new Minister following the murder of Rufus Scrimgeour.
