As Goyle grows older, he continues to indulge his worst tendencies. He becomes a Beater on the Slytherin Quidditch Team in his fifth year, often attacking other players purely for the thrill of it. Once the Death Eaters take over Hogwarts, he becomes very skilled in the Dark Arts, enjoying the use of curses on other students.
