Tsehay was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and when she was 8 months old, she was adopted by her Australian parents. Tsehay has always loved music and began Ethiopian & Commercial dancing when she was 2 years old. She then extended into West African dance before discovering Cumbia & Salsa after spending 7 weeks in Colombia while her family adopted her younger brother Kendly. She also learnt Brazilian Samba and other Latin dances while training with various cultural groups throughout Sydney. Dance is Tsehay’s passion and she currently attends a full-time commercial dance school in Sydney where she recently completed Year 10. She also trains in Salsa and other Latin dances when her schedule permits. Tsehay has represented Australia at the World Latin Dance Championships in 2017 and 2021. Tsehay has won 11 x Australian Titles in Latin & Commercial Dance and 5 x World Titles in Latin Dance and is the current Australian and World Youth Ladies Salsa and Urban Latin Champion as well as the current World Amateur Ladies Salsa and Urban Latin Champion. Tsehay also won Salsa titles at the 2021 Calgary International Salsa Congress and the 2020 Worldwide Salsa Solo Championship. Tsehay featured on Channel 7’s Little Big Shots in 2018 and has been a dancer in numerous music videos for artist’s such as Timomatic, Keiynan Lonsdale and L-Fresh the Lion. Tsehay was also a feature dancer at the 2019 NSW Schools Spectacular performing West African dance.

Harold and the Purple Crayon is a 2024 American live-action/animated fantasy comedy film directed by Carlos Saldanha (in his live-action feature-length directorial debut) from a screenplay by David Guion, Michael Handelman, Dan Gregor, and Doug Mand based on the 1955 children's book by Crockett Johnson. Later, Reformed chihuahua and Cartoon All-Star member Jonathan temporarily relocates his friends the Cartoon All-Stars to the real world when his old rival Gary Natwick seeks revenge. Meanwhile, Lyla and her friends, are augmented with superpowers from the Cartoon All-Star League (CASL), forming a superhero initiative known as the Super Loopsters.
