Jason Isaacs (born 6 June 1963) is an English actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Colonel William Tavington in The Patriot (2000), Michael D. Steele in Black Hawk Down (2001), Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise series (2002–2011), Captain Hook in Peter Pan (2003), James Wolfe in Battle of the Brave (2004), Antonio Pérez in The Escorial Conspiracy (2007), Georgy Zhukov in The Death of Stalin (2017), and John Godfrey in Operation Mincemeat (2021). His television roles include Dr. Hunter Aloysius "Hap" Percy in the Netflix supernatural mystery drama streaming series The OA (2016–2019) and Captain Gabriel Lorca in Star Trek: Discovery (2017–2018). His voice acting roles include Admiral Zhao in the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005) and the second season of The Legend of Korra (2013), and the Grand Inquisitor/Sentinel in Star Wars Rebels (2014–2016). Isaacs has appeared on stage as Louis Ironson in Declan Donnellan's 1992 and 1993 Royal National Theatre premiere of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes and as hitman Ben in a 2007 revival of Harold Pinter's 1957 play The Dumb Waiter at Trafalgar Studios in the West End. He was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor—Miniseries or Television Film for The State Within (2006) and for the British Academy Television Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Harry H. Corbett in The Curse of Steptoe (2008). He also was nominated for the International Emmy Award for Best Actor, won the Satellite Award for Best Actor—Miniseries or Television Film for Case Histories (2011–2013), and was nominated for the Satellite Award for Best Actor—Television Series Drama for Brotherhood (2006–2008). 4 years later. Haddonfield's Halloween celebrations have been nonexistant, but now the new Mayor wants to bring Halloween back. A scarred Loomis & Marion warns him, but he wont listen. The Strode's have been trying to get on with their lives with the death of Debra, Annie has become a recluse due to her injuries, Alex & Laura Van der Klok have been struggling without Lynda. In the run up to Halloween Michael resurfaces and kills Marion & Laura. Alex arms himself and goes out looking for him. Michael attacks Lilah & Annie, they run to the Sheriff's station, locking themselves in a jail cell, he can't get at them. When Brackett & Hunt get there, Michael has vanished. After killing Alex, Hunt & Morgan, Michael follows Laurie into the woods with Loomis & Brackett in pursuit. They split up to find her, Loomis gets to her just in time & is able to talk Michael out of killing her. Michael suddenly stabs Loomis killing him. Hearing Laurie's screams, Brackett finds her & shoots Michael several times in the chest. Laurie sees Loomis' gun & picks it up. She walks over to Michael's body, puts the gun to his head, pulls the trigger, making sure. Brackett & the Mayor have Michael buried in an unmarked grave, with a thick layer of concrete poured above his casket. Brackett offers Laurie to stay with him, Lilah & Annie. Laurie thanks him but decides to leave Haddonfield.
