Gordon Freeman, a physicist for a shady research lab, wakes up one day to find most of the lab's staff gone, and strange entities lurking in the shadows beneath the surface, waiting to strike. He also finds himself being stalked by a suited gentleman who knows how to get into people's heads... literally.
