She's a prominent member of the resistance against the combine, being a skilled mechanic, hacker and fighter. Friend to Barney and Kleiner, companion of Gordon Freeman, and daughter of Eli Vance. She is also the character that the player takes control of in Half-Life: Alyx. She was originally voiced by Merle Dandridge in Half-Life 2 and it's episodes, and by Ozioma Akagha in Half-Life Alyx. Her likeness was based off of Jamil Higley.
