Charles Michael Melton (born January 4, 1991) is an American actor. After working as a fashion model, Melton ventured to acting with guest roles on the television series Glee (2014) and American Horror Story: Hotel (2015–2016). His breakthrough came with his portrayal of Reggie Mantle in the CW series Riverdale (2017–2023). Melton gained recognition for his leading role in the romance film The Sun Is Also a Star (2019). Melton earned nominations for a Critics' Choice Movie Award and a Golden Globe Award for his acclaimed portrayal of a young man married to a much older woman in the drama film May December (2023). Deep in the facade of earth, lies a terrible secretive and manipulative society. The Chronos Corporation has secret plans for world conquest and have spent hundreds of years engineering biological weapons; transforming normal humans into monsterous soilders called Zoanoids A test type zoanoid disguised as a normal man attempt to recover from the three units from the test type but are unsuccsesful; the test-type was discovered with a grenade, killing himself and scattering the Guyver Units around the area. Meanwhile, two young high school students Gene Hill and Timmy Valencia come across one of the guyver units. curious as to what the unit is, Gene accidentally merges with the unit transforming him into "The Guyver" The-biological armor increases his own physical abilites, which grants him various powers and arms him with deadly weapons. Now, Gene must fight for his life and those who are close to him. against Zoanoids sent by the evil Chronos Corporation that are in pursuit of the Guyver Units.
