Gumball Watterson (Jacob Tremblay) is the last robot cat left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet, one piece of garbage at a time. But during 1000 years, Gumball has developed a personality, and he's more than a little lonely. Then he spots Penny (Elle Fanning), a sleek and shapely probe Fairy sent back to Earth on a scanning mission. Smitten Gumball embarks on an adventure when he follows Penny across the galaxy.
