A Brash Space Pirate, a deadly assassin, a Mouthy, Trigger Happy Raccoon, a sentient Tree, a dim-witted but well motivated killer, a powerful woman with cosmic powers, an intergalactic cop, and the sole survivor of an alien race from Pluto get a mission from the Collector to obtain an object solely known as the Cosmic Cube while also being hunted by the Slaughter Squad, who are also after the Cube. But when the team realizes the Collector only wants the Cosmic Cube to further her own agenda, they embrace their destiny as a group of heroes.
