Fan Casting Raker in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 4

So maybe what could be a catalyst for him to finally try and expand his empire is finding an anomalous Soul Stone following Avengers Secret Wars? Maybe has unusually strong properties, not saying bring back the dead or something but maybe mimics the ability (kind of proves he's a bit of a fraud?) Perhaps started out with a family that was killed during universes colliding or something?
