After the events of Avengers: Endgame, the Guardians of the Galaxy continue their adventures through space, as they try to find Gamora. But when the mad space scientist known as the High Evolutionary finds them, the Guardians must journey into Rocket's past to stop the nefarious villain, finding allies new and old in the process. Meanwhile, Adam Warlock is tasked with destroying the Guardians, but soon he will question his true purpose in the universe!
