The Guardians of the Galaxy have been protecting the universe for the past couple of months. After Rocket steals batteries from an ancient alien race, the Sovereign, they send their armada out for vengeance. While they're escaping, a strange being, named Ego reveals that he is in fact, Peter's real father.
