The series follows the Guardians of the Galaxy in the universe where Avengers EMH. It follows their adventures in space as they handle cosmic threats looming across the galaxy. Based on the 2008 team created by Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning, it adapts the stories from the 2008 comics as well as storylines such as Annihilation, Annihilation: Conquest, War of Kings, Thanos Imperative, etc.
