A young boy named Peter Quill was kidnapped by aliens when he ran away after his mother died. He eventually grew up to become an intergalactic thief named Star Lord. Because of a strange orb he stole, he is wanted by various bounty hunters across the galaxy, employed by the powerful tyrant, Ronan, who wants it to take over the universe.
