A young former biker gang leader with a crude attitude and a questionable past, sets out on an improbable quest to become the greatest teacher in the World. Assigned to a notorious classroom of middle schoolers who have successfully driven their previous teachers to mental breakdowns, Onizuka discards traditional textbooks in favor of radical, "street-smart" pedagogy. By using extreme—and often life-threatening—methods to solve his students' deep-seated personal traumas, he bypasses the rigid bureaucracy of the school system to forge genuine emotional bonds, proving that his unconventional brand of empathy is the only cure for a broken generation.
