Rosario Isabel Dawson (born May 9, 1979) is an American actress and activist. She made her feature-film debut in the 1995 independent drama Kids. Her subsequent film roles include He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), 25th Hour (2001), Men in Black II (2002), The Rundown (2003), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014), Zombieland: Double Tap (2019), Clerks 3 (2022), and Haunted Mansion (2023). Dawson has provided voice-over work for Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC Comics, and ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit. She is also recognised for her portrayal of the live-action Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars franchise. Dawson had several roles in film and television adaptations of comic books. These include Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the Marvel Netflix series (2015–2018), and providing the voices of Diana Prince / Wonder Woman in the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon / Batgirl in The Lego Batman Movie. The prequel series follows the life of Queen Grimhilde, formerly known as Lady Grimhilde, before she became the evil queen in Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs . Grimhilde is shown to be a beautiful and ambitious young woman who is next in line to inherit the throne of her kingdom. As a young girl, Grimhilde befriended a powerful sorceress who taught her the ways of magic. However, when the sorceress betrays her, Grimhilde is forced to flee her kingdom and begins a journey to unlock the full potential of her powers. Along the way, Grimhilde encounters a range of characters, some of whom become her allies, while others pose a threat to her quest for ultimate power. She must navigate political intrigue, deal with personal tragedies, and learn to control the darkness within herself in order to achieve her ultimate goal. As the series progresses, Grimhilde starts to develop her signature style of using magic to transform her appearance or create elaborate spells. Viewers will see the evolution of her character from an innocent young girl to a ruthless queen who is feared by all.
