When test pilot Hal Jordan receives a dying alien’s power ring, he is thrust into the Green Lantern Corps—an intergalactic police force powered by will. Reluctant and reckless, Hal struggles to master the ring while Earth faces dual threats: the telepathic, mutated Dr. Hector Hammond and the cosmic entity Legion, born from the Guardians' failed experiment with fear. Guided by the Corps and haunted by his father's sacrifice, Hal must overcome his own fear to become the hero the universe needs.
