Hal Jordan couldn't complain about the lack of work lately when patrolling space, often outside even his original sector, thanks to the help of his colleague John Stewart. Despite this, he always kept in touch with the Justice League, to try to catch up on what was happening on Earth, when he could actually see them again. Things change when John introduces him to a new recruit, in the form of Jessica Cruz, where he says he suggested the two team up. Although the young woman has a somewhat difficult personality, Hal gradually realizes that she also has her own ghosts, and to deal with a resurfacing threat, they will have to demonstrate the unity that only the Green Lantern Corps knows.
