While imprisoned in the Green Lantern Central Power Battery, Sinestro discovers the existence of Parallax, the Fear Entity that causes the yellow impurity in their power rings. Sinestro helps Parallax infect Hal Jordan, corrupting him to destroy the Lantern Corps.
